This works in the United States for sure. Just signed up with disposable email address and received confirmation email with password. Email didn't say how long the trial would last, but the signup page said 180 days. Listening now and it is working great.
Works for me in Mississauga Canada with any random zip code. It's most likely they're more concerned about collecting emails for future email marketing campaigns then they are about where you live.
Listening to Pearl Jam radio now on my Playbook browser..... Love it!

For those that have the trial-- how well does it work through the PB browser? I can never get it to work well enough to use.
I used it for about two hours last night, though I mostly stuck to one or two specific stations with the screen off. Aside from it being semi-difficult to select the categories with my finger, it worked well on the pb. I was also able to surf crackberry in another tab for awhile but after switching stations it kept stopping when leaving the tab.
I logged in on PC and set some favorites then you have them as buttons on the playbook. much easier to navigate. Seen some reporting trial lasting longer than 6 months (old link).
I would just sign up and see what happens as it is free. One person said it has passed the one year mark for them.
They had the date wrong. Oct 1st is right but the year is 20122.
No, really, I wish RIM all the luck in the world but this has got to stop. The PB should've never been released without email and that should've been ready!!!
I think they are going to have a winner product wise but I wonder if they will ever get back their customer respect.
Just a little FYI in case no one knows, after you log into sirius double tap on the website so it goes into full screen mode and then you will be able to navigate alot better/easier and the side scrolls work better....I find once I make the Web Page full screen it works flawless.....
