    Video I record on the BBPB is showing 54.3 FPS.

    Is there any way I can set it to 29.7?

    What's the source of your info. The PB records at 30 FPS.

    Just lower the video rate from 720 down to 480 and that should lower the fps....

    Nah. It's 30 FPS regardless of the recording resolution.

    Looking at the FPS in multiple video players it vary wildly from 53fps to in the hundreds.

    Can't edit video because of this.

    Windows Explorer: properties: 29 frames per second
    VLC Player: media info: 29.868596 frames per second
    Prism Video File Converter: 29 frames per second
    Quicktime Player: 29.87 frames per second...

    What vid players were giving you those numbers?
