Anyone else wondering if the 4g PlayBook will ever be released in the US.
I thought that it might get released with or shortly after 2.1 but that notion is fading.
My gut feeling is the Canadian sales numbers were asymptotic.

It may be released prior to Xmas in an attempt to gain sales numbers. Personally I will not drop from 64gtb to 32gb for 4G or 5G.

You're waiting for the 2.1 update for it like everyone else. As soon as the carriers finish their testing I'm sure it will be released. I don't think RIM wants to release it anywhere else without the 2.1 OS update available.

Same here happy with my 64g and 2.1 which I don't has been released to the 4G PB yet.

I'm guessing Canadian sales are very low. I've been in three Rogers stores and not seen one PB in store. Kind of hard to sell it when you can't show it

I'd buy one if they released it in the U.S. Two things though, I'd rather spend 550 on a 64 gig and I don't want to wait any longer for BlackBerry 10 like folks are still waiting on 2.1

Is it possible to use cfp to load 2.1 on a 4G PlayBook ?

I love mine but initially i didn't think it would be worth the upgrade. I purchased it for $300 which made it compelling versus $600 after tax. I find my 64 slower now compared to the LTE and the LTE doesn't have 2.1. Everything is faster even the 4g vs the 9900 hotspot. Build quality is correct and just a really nice device. I hope you guys south of here get it soon.
