    Does anyone know what this is? I've seen people getting a 3mb update...but not the one i'm currently installing.

    No. It's not. Look at the screenshot. It says 294mb and the version is 2.1.0.560

    The update from the OP is for those running 2.1 Beta OS. Hopefully RIM is getting closer to releasing 2.1 out of Beta... Bla1ze said last night on Twitter that RIM is up to 2.1.0.800 internally... so hopefully it will be ready by the time the 4G PlayBook launches next week.
