It took my PIN w/o an error, I entered it right from my PlayBook browser. Try posting a comment under that dev blog post including your PIN - bet at least someone from RIM is monitoring the post, co they might help you or whitelist your PIN manually.

Don't do that !! It didn't accept your PIN, so after the hardreset your PlayBook will just download the latest official version (2.0.1).

I was getting "invalid pin" also. I just kept trying and it eventually took it. It works, it's just that everyone and their moms are trying to get in on it.

I am also experiencing an "Invalid PIN" message.
On a side note I am sometimes forwarded to the Developer BlackBerry home page.

I registered my pin and then did a security wipe. It's back up now saying it needs to "configure PB for my region." Downloading 354Mb. Kinda hope it boots back up to 2.1 but somehow I doubt it

I wonder if the new LTE playbook is going to have teh number+letter pin that it's asking for ... might be looking for the new devices at this point. My pin is all numbers and its asking for a combo.

What's the procedure for a "hard reset"? Does it wipe anything (apps, settings, files etc.?)? Might try that if it doesn't pick up the update soon (currently doing a normal restart)

Because you registered it here 2.1 Dev Beta and it told you it was successful

Are you mistaking (eg) zeros for 'Oh's by any chance? (Not that I'd do something like that or anything... not me, that would be silly... )

I think they are just referring to the "hold down power, volume up and volume down buttons for 10 seconds" procedure
    Superfly_FR and SifJar like this.

Mine has letters and numbers, probably just random. Make sure you aren't getting mixed up between 0 (number zero) and O (letter) though
