Coming from .840 beta. Bridge working great and way faster both loading and deleting emails. Browser simply is better, may not be faster at loading pages but I think there is more memory dedicated to it as there is NO checkerboarding while scrolling long web pages as fast as I can. Also tapping on embedded videos is more stable and predictable. Two thumbs up so far!!!
All my initial Bridge SMS showed up, but with the wrong name !!!
Now resyncing address book from Google.
Question might be formatting..
The sms are
+61419xxxxxx
but I have the number stored in my address book like
+61 419 xxx xxx
which has never been any issue before - the spaces get ignored
Indeed seems that way - as Playbook only thinks I have had SMS conversation with two users, versus at least 15 in my BB.
TOTAL FAIL
Gets worse when you try to do a new conversation
The speech button brings up a Select a namefrom a checkbox list with each number a separate entry -- ok So that is about 900 entries in my address book.
Or the + sign just brings up a Add Phone number
Bridge will not connect. I have deleted, re installed, batterry pulled, restarted and nothing. I can connect via bluetooth. But the bridge itself wont work. Either my playbook asks if a number matches a number on my phone and my phone shows no number or my phone tells me to go to bridge on my playbook and select thephone from the menu and the phone doesnt show up on the menu. That is as close as i can get to bridging. Using bridge .26 on an os 7 phone.
I had 2 SMS conversations on the go this morning already. Seems it bugged up going between the two, as the two conversations I was having would each disappear off the playbook, until a new message came in, which then made the other disappear. Anyone else have this issue?

Only difference I have seen so far is less free ram at boot (about a 30MB difference) Android apps are much snappier than before and PIM apps are quicker to load. Coming from .840. Everything else seems about the same.
I've gotta say, Facebook website runs much better on 2.1 than the prior update.
Don't know what it was about the previous update, but Facebook (in the browser) was horrendous to try and use, and is much smoother, by far, on 2.1 update.
