    Hello my fellow CrackBerrians,

I am not using the developer beta for my PlayBook and I happen to check out the Software update screen and what do you know 2.0.0.4869 is now available to download...

I'm downloading as I type this on my Amazing Bold 9900, I'm not sure what is being upgraded or released with this update but I'm sure the CrackBerry team will give us the scoop.

I wonder if someone at RIM accidently leaked this to the public like they did a while back??

Nothing up here in Chicago. Usually, you'll get a screen notification of an update. Updates aren't released simultaneously everywhere so I hope there is something to your report.

An OEM 2.0 update would be fun.

i believe one of the forum moderators changed my thread title. i am not a developer and my PlayBook is not or has ever been on the Beta 2.0. looks like RIM leaked something for a brief window and i happen to just time it right. i sure hope that by me downloading this version i dont get bitten by the consequences of an unfinished software update....

its still downloading so im not sure what im getting...

Even though you said you did not have the 2.0 dev beta installed, do you have your PB on Development Mode?

ok so how can i prove that i did not signup for the beta?

so far im liking that the keyboard is a bit condensed so you see more of the screen...

The OP has signed up for the beta. Developer mode is not needed to install or use it. That is why a mod changed the title. Nothing to see here.

You probably can't. Yes the keyboard is smaller, there is a single marker for selecting text to change a typo also.
