Not to mention it says nothing about it being canceled. Stopping development and cancelling are two entirely different things but hey, it's like a secret you whisper in someones ear and then tell 10 other people -- by the time it gets to the end it's a different story.

Well 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
Would postponed be easier on your week stomachs?

Pretty tough to sell a 10" version when you market the 7" version as an ultra-portable alternative to other 10" tablets.
I say hold the release of the 10" Playbook until the software is up to par (at least) with other tablets on the market. Then release it with huge fanfare and hopefully better reviews.

No, but a little civility would. And stopped/delayed/postponed is a far cry from canceled. A lot of people are critical of RIM for developing the PlayBook during the time that they should have had those resources developing new phones. Well, they're refocusing those resources on a new phone now, even as the next new phones are about to be released. Is that such a bad thing?

Forgive my ignorance, but did RIM ever actually announce a 10" PB to begin with? I remember when wishful thinkers were predicting or asking for one eventually, and various rumor mill sites would pass it off as real information. I just don't recall RIM ever actually stating they had begun any development on one.
oh i know, its bad, my gf compliments me all the time that i actually spell everything out properly, unless it needs to be a quick bbm msg. But my sister who is 5yrs younger than me (i'm 31) uses txt slang all the time and it drives me NUTS
Duh, i am glad someone caught that, that is because of the lack of spell check that those kinds of errors are made, and I made a point. Spelling and grammar have taken a huge back seat. Their has to be something we could do to change this. and yes I put their instead of there
This was posted last week, and I say good, 10" tablets aren't very strong in the market (besides the well marketed 9.7" iPads). RIM would have wasted money putting out a 10" PB.
