Neither. I don't need a second tablet. The portability of the 7' suits me well enough.

Yes, no need for a 10 incher....I've said it before, only a ravenous glutton for excessive pain would need more then 7 inches.10 inch tablet - would you replace 7 inch, add, or neither-anim_63.gif

None of the above...I'm happy with the 7" as is. Might eventually replace my Torch 9800, though...or maybe not even that!

I really like the 7 inch form factor.
It is one of the the reasons I got a PlayBook.

I would buy one just to have a 10" with Flash. My Ipad 3 and my three 10" Android tablets no longer support Flash.

Other: I wouldn't buy a second PB of any size, for myself, until I see BB10 available for it. I think the PB I have is great but with BB10 it will be better.

I would think about it for at home and get a new updated 7" one if it were available but only after I see BB10 running on them smoothly and not the current OS.

I would buy a 10' for the following:
    - Lighter than the 7'
    - Both tablets can sync with each other, meaning if I am on an app on the 7' in one room, I can go to the 10' in another room and continue with the app as if I am on the 7'.
    - Connection to external storage
    - Built in external keyboard

What's the point of a 10" tablet? Before I am that nutz to spend that much money on a tablet that size, I'd rather take my money and by a mini laptop or netbook with specs and capabilities that blow that tablet out of the water.
Have you ever paid attention to what people are actually complaining about, when they gripe about shortcomings of their tablets?
It is mostly things that they miss from a PC! So if you really want a 10" tablet, you're better off to buy a real computer. they can be in the same size, and not much thicker and no missing this, no missing that.

Neither. I have an iPad. I prefer the smaller form factor, which Is why I bought a PlayBook. If anything, in the future, I would buy 7" iPads rather than the 10" models.

Tablets have huge advantages over laptops.

MUCH longer battery life - they can actually be used away from power for a day.

3G/4G/LTE - Internet access from anywhere

MUCH easier to use OS - a 3 year old can use a tablet comfortably, as can a technophobe grandparent.

Touch based interface works well for many apps.

App prices are far lower and don't require you to key in 50 digit license codes. Software installation is dead simple.

Size and weight are huge advantages. So is solid state reliability, which is really important in a portable device that gets banged around a lot.

As to specs and capabilities, a first generation iPad had pathetic specs - a slow processor, 256MB of RAM, It did almost everything faster than a netbook, because of the solid state drive and an OS which doesn't place huge demands on the hardware.

Haha. 17" gaming laptop, 14" Ultrabook, 10" Xoom, 7" PB, 4" phone. Yeah, I'll buy anything!
Oh, except a 9.5" iPAD or 3.5" iPhone!

Ohhhhhhhhhh. Can I post a picture of my gadgets? More than a couple of HPLX's (hplx95, hplx100, hplx200). A ibm-pc110 (it might have been an early smartphone since it had a telephone built in), some other smallish thinkpad, more hp devices (I was a beta tester and got a few), kindle3 and a 32 and 64gig pb's!

Add it. I see uses for both. Most of the time I would use the 7", but the 10" would be nice when I'm viewing construction drawings on site.
@ralfyguy - a laptop is a pain to walk around a job site with looking at drawings. I guess you don't have a use for it, but many others in different circumstances with different needs could certainly benefit from having one.

I would buy the 10 inch tablet in a second if they released it. What attracted me to the PlayBook wasn't the 7 inch form, but rather the price tag. Granted it was a *huge* surprise (I never owned BlackBerry anything before), but there are times I wish it was 10inches. I think that is the one thing I would change about it, to be honest. I ended up liking the PB so much that I wouldn't upgrade to a 10in tablet until they release one (I truly believe BB10 will revive them and then a 10in will be released).
