Is there a way to make the ringtone for an email message play longer?

I have the aol youve got mail tone set for it, but it only makes it to youve got...

The mp3 ringtone that i am using is the full length.

This would be an issue with the mp3 itself, not a device issue. I have songs for all my texts and different messages, and they all play through. There is no setting to make them last longer.

OK the mp3 was short. I deleted it, opened the email I sent myself, opened it again, it played fine. When I save it, it is short, whats going on???

Does this issue occur with all mp3 files on your device?

I had a couple of songs i tranfered to it that seemed to cut off a few seconds before they were threw, but i just deleted them

Then this is obviously not a problem that is specific to the particular "You've Got Mail" tone. Where are you downloading these tones from? Did they all come from the same source? That could be your common denominator right there.

youve got mail was on crackberry, the three songs were off my computer

Are you doing OTA downloads, or via your DM?

the songs i drag and dropped without the desk man, the aol mail i emailed to my phone, which i did with some others and they worked fine

It is strange that only certain tones are not functioning properly on your device. Are all the file extensions the same? Please try to think of similarities between the situations surrounding the ringtones, if that makes sense.
