Hello all,

I upgraded from the Pearl 8130 to the Tour 9630 in July... since then the pearl has just been sitting in a drawer in my room. Today I tried to turn it on and nothing happens. The red LED indicator light comes on briefly when I plug it into the wall, but won't turn on at all. I let it 'charge' for about 2 hours and still nothing... any thoughts on what might be causing this?

The battery might have died in the 8130. Have you tried an alternate battery?

Does the battery charging indicator come on the screen?

Is the battery warm after being charged for 2 hours?

Also, did you try a battery pull? Or just holding the power button?
