Hi there,

I'm a complete newbie to the forum and to my 8120 - so forgive any stupidness in this question.

Whilst on a call tonight I noticed my wireless modem and router showing great activity during the call. I switched off the mobile network in the connections settings and made a call. Once again the router showed masses of activity. Is the call be routed down the internet? What's happening - I' confused?

the 8120 has uma, which routes calls through the internet when the wifi radio is turned on, and connected to the router.

Thank you for the explanation. Calls from within the house now don't cut out. Cool feature.
