I'm going to London, Spain and France, will my pearl work there? I have bell, but for some reason they don't want to tell me if my phone will work or not.
    Please help?

For CDMA Blackberrys (like those from Bell, Telus, Verizon, Sprint etc), only the 8830 WE or the new Storm will work overseas.

if they did (have frequencies that work in europe) you'd have to either find a (prepaid) provider in europe that uses cdma technology... or if your service lets you activate some sort of international plan (with a partner cell company in europe), you could go that rate (but it will surely be pricey).

you could always try to find a pay as you go phone in europe.
