On my Palm TX, it would repeat the tone for an appointment reminder every five minutes until either I dismissed it or we hit the appointment time.

Can I tell my 8130 to do that? It looks to me like the reminder will only fire once - and if I happen to be out of earshot, I'm out of luck.

Yep, they only fire once with the built in calendar. The reminder stays on your screen until you Dismiss or Snooze it. You can buy a 3rd party app called BB Alarms that will repeat for you if thats what you want.

I have a twist on this problem, if the backlight has timed out and the calendar alarm activates, I might hear the audio but the screen remains blank.

Is there a way to get the screen to show the calendar event when the backlight has timed out?

Looked all over this forum and the official owners lounge without any clues.
