is it photos you took with the phones camera or photos that you loaded onto the phone? might be long if its the later and those files are huge (10 MP)?

How long are we talking here? Are you certain they are on your media card, and not device memory?

Could the problem be to many open apps and/or Low memory?

The memory could be a real possibility cuz I usually dont have any apps open and have loads (4gb) of memory and prolly 75 pics and mine load in just seconds...how much empty space do you have open?

Its not how much memory you have on memory card, but how much is free on phone for OS to run.

I did a battery pull and took out the media card. Now the 8220 is loading the thumbnails alot quicker.

But the 8100 still takes a very long time to load!

Oh well, i won half the battle, thanks for the help!

Also, I recommend getting Quick Pull for your Berry. It's nice if you're only having a data leak problem so you don't have to do a battery pull, but rather you can do a "soft reset" the has a much lower restart time and should remedy any issues you are having. Plus it's a free app so you can't beat that.

What Phone do you recommend that has the highest resolution and Quality for taking pictures and also for video?
I like to take lots of video and pics and am tired of carrying camera and phone around.

Aztecaa if going for BB then get BB Curve 8900 which just came out and coming out soon for T-Mobile. If out of any phone... get the Zine like I have... It beats alot of actual cameras and tracking time beats actual digital cams as well... The kodak cam built onto the moto zine is amazing! Its an actual camera basically 5.0MP with auto focus and real XENON flash!
