Just shifted to the 8220 from the curve. Still trying to understand the suretype etc. Can anyone tell me how to use the shortcuts to open Optins by pressing O, messaging by pressing M etc?? I just cant see that setting here on the phone. If these shortcuts are missing I think ill be givng the phone back.
you can't turn off dialing from the home screen. there are shortcuts once you get things open:
in messages-
1 is top and 7 is bottom
to type all numbers hold down the # and press alt
to select more than one message hold the alt key and roll the trackball
to get to compose-the "cv" key works like the "c" key did, as do the rest-"op" for options, etc.
in your browser,
space key scrolls down, the 2 and 8 keys are the up and down keys
give yourself a few days with it. I was a little blown until I got the hang of it (2 or 3 days) now its no problem. hth.
