Well my mums phone broke and I went to reinstall the OS, No such luck. Theres a constant red light on the front cover and when you open it you get a small loading bar and then it turns off. Previously I would get this error 574 or something, and it said reset.

I have no idea how this happened; but long story short I need help =\ I thought about sending back for a new once since im under warranty but my mom wants to make sure theres no other options

did you try wiping it first? you can use crackmem...

Connect to the computer, but do not open the manager.

Download CrackMem or JL Cmder.
Use one of the apps to wipe the phone.

Disconnect, then reconnect.
Open the Desktop Manager, and install the latest OS.

This happened to me but I did not need to use a special app to fix... simply deleted the vendor.xml in common files, blackberry, apploader folder and then it auto reinstalled OS I was on and it worked again... but to each their own.
