Today my wife complained that the predictive text on her 8100 wasn't working. Of course she gave it to me in the hopes I would know why...Being the all knowing guy I am .

There was an Icon in the upper left corner of the screen where the cap and alt icons show up and it was just ABC. I could not find out how to get rid of it. Battery pull did the trick, as it usually does, but what was the icon and where is it activated and de activated. I have never seen that on my Curve.

Sounds like she had turned on multi-tap. Which you can change from any input field by pressing menu, I think.

Thanks for the really fas response. That was it. I never thought of it since I don't use a pearl. I am a QWERTY guy.
