I've searched the forum for an answer and I have tried all the things that you guys suggested in order to make my battery last longer.

The weird thing is that the problem started about 3 days ago.

Before that my battery would last for about 2 days, even with me using AIM, making phone calls and such.

But all the sudden the battery life is extremely short.
I fully charged it this morning (10am), it is now nearly 5pm and the battery is half empty ...

I have not done anything extraordinary, vibrate is off, back light is set to 30 seconds ...

Could the media card that I put in about 5 days ago have something to do with it?

Could it have anything to do with 1x / 1xEV?

1) You might have an app running in the background transmitting and receiving using up your battery.

2) Maybe one of the cell towers in your area is down and your phone is having to work harder to keep signal with other towers, thus chewing up your battery.
