The Mp4 format of the ipod won't work on your pearl.

You need to convert those vids to the .3gp format. Then you can transfer them to your sd card for viewing

The ipods mp4 format will only work if you have os 4.5 installed on your berry.

However, the generalized MP4 codec is supported by the blackberry as well as the 3gp and 3g2 formats. This is for os 4.3 and higher.
