Hi I am attempting to get the VPN client working on a 8120 with a Cisco 3000 concentrator. I have tried setting it up on the device and also sending out a policy from BES to no avail. O2 have allowed it their end and I have worked closely with our Cisco guy to ensure all settings are the same but silll the device comes back with
"Profile is missing or not specified"
Have I just missed something obvious or has one of you out there set this up before who can help - Thanks

I take it profile for the said Cisco VPN account was added on the device?

Is that where Gateway type is specified, if so yes, along with IKE settings etc (via security and VPN options and also tried it through VPN settings on the BES (VPN vendor type) or am I missing something obvious?

I wonder if the Firewall has to be turned off on the Blackberry...

Found the firewall settings and its enabled, nothing bnlocked then on the next page its set for

Connections - Allow
Interactions - custom
User Data - Allow

Sorted now, just kept changing IKE settings etc until I found one that worked- Thanks for your help
