Hi all,
I have had my Blackberry Pearl for only 3 weeks. One day when I woke up and pulled my phone off the charger and the vibrate wouldn' go off when I got a call or text. I've taken the battery out and checked the volume profiles (which I didn't change). On Loud and Vibrate it wont work, just my LED light flashes. Anyone else have this problem and know the solution or took it to their phone provider for a new one?

I dont know i havent tried it in any other profile but loud and vibrate. I figured if it didnt work in vibrate it wont work in any others.

Go to Options > Status. Type the word test. You won't see it typed on the screen, but it will launch the diagnostic application which includes a vibration test. Press menu, then start to begin. Check the box for Misc. Use the trackball to navigate the test.

I used the test and when I got to vibration and pressed a key there were no vibrating pulses like the test describes. I'm guessing that means its broken...

You should definitely ask for a warranty exchange then.
