I work in an office building and fired up my nav system to see where i ws the address it gave me is a least nine blocks away. has anyone else had this problem or is it because iam in an office building.
You'll need a fairly unobstructed line to the sky for it to accurately lock onto the GPS. I've had inaccurate positioning when in a parking structure, but it clears up when on the open road.
If you're referring to another "nav" program (such as google maps), it will be very inaccurate, as it uses cell tower triangulation to get a fix on your position, NOT the internal GPS (which is locked down by Verizon and limited to only VZ Nav)
