I'm getting a BB Pearl tmrw from verizon n just had a few questions, the first one might be dumb but, does the Pearl come with basic features like an Alarm Clock n Calender like a regular phone? and also, if i want to set up my college email onto my BB, is all I have to do is put in my email address and password to get my emails sent to it?
Yes to all!!! Any pearl will have an alarm clock and a calender, calculator, Password keeper, Note Pad, etc..... I think you can set up almost any email address with your phone. I have a yahoo, gmail and hotmail on my 8120. I used to have my college email forwarded to my yahoo back when I was at college but I think it is also possible to set it up directly on a BB
Sign into your carrier's BlackBerry website and add it from there. Really easy. It asks for the account and password, and from there it should work just fine.
Worked for me first try with my gmail as well as mail from my personal website.
