    Hello all, so I've been reading about this upgrade and I understand I would need OS 4.5 to be able to utilize all the new features of BIS 2.5.

    Why haven't I seen any OS releases for the 8130? Not even in the news release yesterday did they name the 8130. Please help I'm confused.

    Because the new OS, 4.5, hasn't been released yet. Last thing I saw (on Boy Genius) said 4.5 wouldn't be officially released until September. Everyone on Crackberry who is running 4.5 is running a beta.

    I understand they are running BETA; but i have not heard anything about a 8130 BETA anywhere.

    Because were CDMA and they are GSM.

    Just have to wait.

    no vzw is cdma, and its working on we and curves as far as i know

    we (meaning you vrzn and me USCC) are CDMA .... and they (meaning just abotu everyone esle are GSM)
