So my upgrade saga went from okay to bad to worse.

First off I had the wrong version of DM. No big deal. Finally got that downloaded, reloaded the new OS and got CrackMem going.

I then went through the steps as outlined by Big Bad Wulf. Instead of the hour I was expecting the system upgrade to be completed in in 5-7 seconds i got a download complete message. Of course this didn't actually do the upload. Got the complete screen and all. After multiple battery pulls and head banging, etc I decided to try again. The beauty of this last go around is that when I attach my USB to my BB and computer it doesn't recongize my BB. DM tells me it is not connected and has no pin. Tried all the connection options with no avail.

All this in the ever elusive quest for more memory. At one point today my file free was around 1 million.

Oh happy days. Wonder what else I could have been doing for four hours.

If anyone can throw me a life line I will be forever indebted.

Did you check the port settings, to make sure they didn't go to power saving? It's down in the wipe section of my guide.
