I have an 8100 and am going to get a new BB at some point. I sell these things, so I know what the differences for the most part. What do you all think might be good reason to get an 8120 for a very happy 8100 user?

Not a whole lot unless you want a slightly improved browser and video recording...which you can get with OS 4.5 on the 8100. The 8120 has a better mic which you cannot get with OS 4.5.

Edit: Yes, how could I forget wifi!

I think the biggest plus would be the Wifi.

Wifi it is. If you have to extend your contract and pay for the upgrade, I would say wait for a much better phone instead.

The 8120 has Wifi, an extra speaker in the back of the phone (2 instead of 1) for better sound, has a standard sized earphone jack, and a door on the siderail that allows you to insert/remove a memory card without having to turn off the phone as you do in the 8100 where you have to pull the battery out to get to the memory card slot.

It is a better phone than the 8100, but like the folks said here, depending on how long you wait before you upgrade, there might be a newer/better Berry out there to consider.
