Not sure what to do...my pearl handset speaker (not speakerphone) seems to be a bit crackly (like a vibration)...I am pretty sure that Verizon will send me a refurbished one to replace it but here are my worries:
    1) how good is a refurb?
    2) how do I transfer my 3rd party applications over? do I have to repurchase codes for them? Will I have a new pin and my old codes will work?

The sound is not horrible, but I notice it...should I just suck it up?

    Thanks!

    1. It really depends, but if it's bad, have Verizon send you another...

    2. Use the 'Switch device' option in Desktop Manager. The only thing you might have to do is to email the respective company to advise them of the new pin, thus your current license number for said application works...

And yes- U will have a new PIN. Every BB has its own #. Write down all Ur registration codes for the 3p software U have. Its best to provide in Ur email the registration code, the old pin & new pin.
