I currently have a 8130 pearl. I have a back up in my computer, and I dropped it into the water and now the buttons do not work..... I was thinking about upgrading to a curve. Will my address book and everything that is saved off of my pearl transfer over to the curve? Thanks

As long as you backed everything up on your computer, just purchase a Curve then restore it all.

Hmm. It might prove harder than just that. I'm sure there will be a difference in operating systems. Will your desktop manager recognize your pearl? If yes just use the desktop managers switch device feature. Easy as that.

Also if you sync your current BB to your puter then all you'd need to do is sync up your new phone.

Btw. I might be wrong but a back up is only good for the same type of phone. No? If I'm wrong ignore this whole post while I put my foot in my mouth.
