Ok so whenever I use the track ball, I hear a slight grinding from it.
I've cleaned the track ball a couple times now and it still is making that sound. The trackball works fine but that sound is scaring me and my girlfriend is getting annoyed with it.
Is it normal or is it something I should be worried about

I think I found the issue. I took out the track ball, and in the casing it is in, thers a lil metal flap at the bottom. I took a screw driver and lifted it up to see it maybe I could position it up a bit, but its goes back into place. Plus it's very delicate that I didn't wanna apply to much pressure.

There is nothing wrong with your t/ball. There are two types.
On rolls smoothly and very silent. The other has a "gritty" feel
to the roll and is not as inaudible as the aforementioned version.
