Oh no, so I was checking e-mail during my lunch and all of the sudden - I couldn't scroll up with my trackball. Now it has issues going left too. I've only had the phone since August and keep it in a skin so what could this be? I've taken the battery out and everything. The only other threads I could find on here about this recommended taking the whole thing apart and I am not about to operate on this thing haha. Any help appreciated! Will probably call AT&T soon as I get home.
Press the mute key on the top for 1 second to put the device in standby. Then push down on the track ball firmly and roll in the direction it doesn't work. Do this until it frees up. It just has a little dirt in it that you need to work out of it. This is the fix that RIM recommends.
