Every time I sync my Pearl to my Windows Vista PC, it resets the time zone to Eniwetok (-12 GMT). This is a major nuisance as it affects the date/time stamp of all my calls and messages.
I checked my PC's date/time settings in the control panel, theyre fine (EST -5 GMT). I saw the earliest posts about setting Date/Time source to CrackBerry and this didn't do the job. So...Anything else I can do about this?

I had the same issue. To resolve this you may to install the latest version of Desktop Manager (in my Windows Vista i use 4.2.2.14 April 26 2007). Only this.

The sync used to work perfectly but I did experience the same issue recently (may be after the day time saving). My device is 7100G with 2007 DST patch while my Desktop Manager is v4.5.0.15 (May 30, 2008) running on Windows Vista. Since my Desktop Manager is more recent than yours, did you imply that it only works with version 4.2.2.14 April 26 2007?
