How come I can only text 160 characters, I run into problems with this alot, as I need more. Is there a way or a setting to expand this to more like 320 or 360?? Thanks!!

No can do, that's a limitation of the OS. I think you have more characters if you send an MMS instead of an SMS.

You can only send 160 characters through SMS. If you need to send more, MMS allows 1,000 characters. But in doing so, whoever you send the MMS to will get charged for receiving it. Say they don't have a MMS package, they'll get charged their standard fee for it.
