I have a single text message, from days ago that refuses to leave the homescreen. I have the today layout set.

I've tried opening, marking as new, then reopening, as well as restarting the blackberry, and even deleting that text message along with the whole string of that days texts. None of it worked. I don't think there is any need to reset the whole device (since i'd rather not do that anyway for a simple annoyance issue) but I would really like it to be gone.

Anyone able to help?

Take the battery out for 20 seconds or so.

Here's a quick way to save about 4 minutes of your life next time this occurs. Go into options, then themes, change your theme to the default and then change it back to your preferred theme and now it's gone, and you didn't have to wait the full 5 minutes for your phone to reboot.
