Well, I have been tethering just fine on my AllTel plan until today. Now, I logon just fine but within 5 minutes of using it my Pearl disconnects from BB Desktop. It was working just fine earlier today, and it has been working fine for my wife with her Curve...what gives?

I'm running WinXP Sp2 and I use Mozilla Firefox. I have the latest version of BB Desktop and I'm running OS .131 on my Pearl. I have tethered fine with this combo for a while, but now suddenly I have problems.
I've tried to do a system restore on my computer and I thought this fixed it, but within 15 minutes I was kicked back offline. The internet connection doesn't drop, the connection to BB Desktop does. I've tried other USB ports and other USB cords, I'm out of ideas...any help before I deep 6 my computer?
