Had a bb 8703e, tethered it to my mac book, no problem. Got a Pearl 8130 and am having a problem.

On mac I go to bluetooth and add new device, it finds my pearl, I get prompted for access code enter it and then it says device is connected, when it then asks to setup services it starts searching, my bb receives a prompt to allow connection , I allow and then it shows my bb disconnected and the setting up service just goes on and on and on... any ideas?
