I used to own the Blackberry Pearl, and there was a task manager there that i used to close down programs with.

And now that i have the blackberry flip 8230 i dont know where the task manager is.. can someone please help me or tell me where i can find this task manager.

yea i have looked everywhere on my phone and i cant seem to find it anywhere... its kinda bugging me..

i dont have that model, but i think with the newer models or newer OSes, hold the menu button for a couple secs and it should come up. Or you can use alt+escape.

yea that comes up but it has no option to close the application..

anymore ideas?

should be able to switch to the open app then close properly via menu options of that app. some apps just stay running though. i think browser, bbm, homescreen, phone, messages. all the others you should be able to close/exit once you switch to it.
