my suretype is messed up. if i type commonly used words, the phone will select gibberish rather than the word i intend on using.

for example,

if i attempt to type 'going', the blackberry will insert 'houbg'.
also the suretype will, intermittently, insert french accents on e's and o's, even though the language is set to english.

any help is appreciated.

thats why i'm planning to get a bold instead.

You should get a screen when you type, with choices. If you keep choosing the right spelling, SureType will learn, and it will be your first selection.
