Please i need some help
I synchronised my BB with microsoft outlook to get my contacts, but i noticed that some when recieving calls, only some of the names of the contact get displayed. Also,contacts I stored manually get displayed whenever i'm recieving a call. I've tried disabling content protection,but that didn't work.
Please is there anyone out there that has any idea what could be wrong.

Have you opened those contacts in the address book and verified that their names are where they should be?

the number may not match exactly. maybe your address book only contains a 7 digit local number but the phone receives 10 digits from the carrier.

If a number is stored only as 7 digit make sure to add the area code to make it 10 digit. As I understand it the BB doesn't realize a 7 digit number matches since when receiving a call it is getting a 10 digit number.

Also check that the number isnt duplicated....i.e the same number under two different names....for example: Josh and Joshua..same guy, same number, two entries in his name.
