    hi all,

this is my solution to this problem with error 507 and the the Jx0000000...005 Error.
with the MOST detail as possible so it works for you.

if another method works for you the GREAT! but thank me if this method works for you, hehe

LAPTOP is windows 7. using the usb from the side of it(no changes to device manger to usb ports)

i have on my laptop installed 470_b059_multilanguage_nomedia (manager desktop manager however i didnt
use it for this operation.) was used to load the applications after the OS booted up though.

    programs you will need are

JL_Cmder v1[1].9.1 installed prior to beginning this operation.
desktop manager 470_b059_multilanguage installed prior to beginning this operation.

    8220M_PBr4.6.0_rel267_PL4.1.0.50_A4.6.0.146_TIM_It aly from
    BlackBerry - Software Downloads 2
    or https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/D...190CAAD5802983 search for
OS rel267_PL4.1.0.50_A4.6.0.146_TIM_Italy its the last one on the list.

now for the events as followed
note my 8220 has had the battery out for about 8 hrs, again im just adding as must info for you.

i was working on a bold 9000, loading apps on it, using desktop manager 470_b059_multilanguage
so i had OS 9000M_AL_4.6.0.266 for the 9000 installed, again i was adding apps to the bold 9000

    1.uninstalled the 9000 OS i had installed.

2.installed the italy OS rel267_PL4.1.0.50_A4.6.0.146_TIM_Italy, i found 8220 dont like newer OS's reason that i used this one....and this was only one that worked, tried many..must be a software/hardware issue

    3. went to computer\C:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
make sure you rename vendor file...to vendorold or delete it...

4 plug usb cord to laptop or pc, with the BATTERY OUT plug the 8220 into the usb cable.
my laptop found the 8220 and installed the drivers for it. from here on do NOT disconnect the 8220

5 open JL_Cmder v1[1].9.1 and choose option 4 when asked if does this blackberry lock with a password
answer is NO, enter Yes to erase, enter blackberry and let JL_Cmder v1[1].9.1 come back to main screen.close the program.

6 again with the battery out ,goto computer\C:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and double click the
loader, click next, at the connection window my 8220 was not recognized, so i unplugged the usb from the PHONE.(not the laptop)
i plugged the phone back in and now it said pin:unknown then click next as SOON as it shows it.
click next it asked it if i wanted to be emailed about updates i said NO,click next then it shows you where you can
add the applications to be installed , click next then it asked if i wanted to keep the newer software that is on the phone i said NO,
    click next
then it shows the apps to be installed click finish
and away she went. now insert the battery into the phone.

7 watch the OS install do not let screen saver on laptop come on, DO NOT let the laptop screen become dim. surf the internet
or with your finger hover the mouse (keep the mouse moving until the OS is DONE
when close a window will pop up saying OS installed successfully click close.

8 unplug the usb cord from the phone.

9.now the phone will show the hour glass for about 20min. DO NOT panic
wait until it finishes.. and BAM! you have a phone again.

10 i then opened 470_b059_multilanguage desktop manager as ADMIN click CANCEL on updates click application loader
and checked/installed the languages and other apps i use and watch the the install do not let screen saver on laptop come on, DO NOT let the laptop screen become dim. surf the internet
or with your finger hover the mouse (keep the mouse moving until its DONE)
when close a window will pop up saying apps installed successfully click close. IT took 45min.
leaving it OS rel267_PL4.1.0.50_A4.6.0.146, and BAM! another satesfied customer...

A BIT long but i wanted to provide you with lots of info...

if you have a different blackberry with this issue then find a early OS, meaning the oldest and try it
