I have a question about SMS texting. Sometimes when I text a contact, they tell me that they receive a series of texts from me, in addition to the new text - from my last texting conversation with them. I don't understand why this is happening because I am not replying to an old text of theirs. I delete all texts after I read them and do not have any sitting there. Is this a problem on my end or some setting on their end?
Check your Options / SMS Text / Number of Previous Items setting. I thought that number only applied to messages that you had kept on your end, but try setting it to 0 and see what happens. Also, ask your friends if they are keeping old messages of yours, and have them check their SMS options setting as well. I suspect they will find they are the source of the old messages if you are not.
