    Hi,
    I am having trouble with my SMS messages. I get a notification near the top of my screen but cannot access the actual message Nothing appears by the envelope icon.

    Any thoughts please?

    Restore the OS or, even better, upgrade it to the latest version, if it's not the one you have.

    It could be a PIN Message. On your main home screen, hit Menu-Show All. Open your 'Messages' folder and look for unread messages.

    The SMS sign looks like an envelope flipped to a side, whereas the email and PIN sign is a straightforward envelope.

    I changed the theme to the 'L' shape and now the messages appear! Weird, but happy with that
