I've loaded all the correct info into the smart dialing option, but it will not dial numbers in my area code still. does that make sense? I still have to dial my area code before all my calls unless they're preloaded with it in my contacts.
I'm guessing when you closed out of the smart dialing options you didn't save your settings. Go back and after you have entered the correct info, press menu and save.
Try a battery pull, and then try changing it again. With your phone on, remove the battery for 30 seconds, then put it back in. If you still can't get it to work, call your carrier and have them conference you in with a BB tech.
you know what's scary..I did call them and the bb tech didn't know of that option..geesh..wtf..I know it's lame to complain about dialing the extra 3 digi but, I'm so used to not doing it.
