My pearl shuts off on me sometimes even when its in standby mode or locked. Ill go to check my messages because I haven't received any, and my phone is off. Why does it do this. How can I prevent it. This would help me stay out of the dog house with my girlfriend. I try to tell her my phone mysteriously shuts off but she doesn't believe me. Thanks a ton.
It's probably a memory issue. Go to options / status. How much memory is left? I say do a battery pull, i.e. pull the battery out while the device is on...
I just had the same problem with a new Pearl. The battery showed a full charge but after a while the Pearl would just shut off. The solution was that the battery was defective. Since I got a different battery I have not had the problem anymore.
