Hi,

Is there a shortcut to switch between multitap and suretype?

On my old BB (7100i) I could press and hold the asterix and it would switch between the two.. So far I can only switch between the two using the sloooow method of pressing the blackberry button & scrolling down.

I've managed to do it when I'm coming out of Numlock (Shift and the Alt keys) but only by accident. A bug perhaps?

Yes...if you are in a "typing area" hit you menu key and there will be an option to "switch to Mulitap"...the only problem is it does switch back to SureType...but I think only if you turn it off and then on, it must reset to SureType. Does anyone know how to change the default to MultiTap? Thanks.

Oh, sorry, you were asking for a shortcut...please disregard unless someone knows how to default it to MultiTap.
