    I've installed the card into my 8100 and it says a media card is not presently inserted into the device? Help? I've put the 4gb mini into the adapter and put it into my desktop and nothing happens. Help?

    Put it into your BB. Then go to Options > Media Card > Press Menu > Choose Format.
