My Scroll ball is already broken and I haven't even had the phone for a month. Anyone know what methods I would go at for getting a new one?? I mean it should still be under warranty...I checked blackberry.com and they don't even have a customer support page so I don't know what to do.

    Let me know, thanks

im sure that you can buy a new trackball and housing. try googling this:

blackberry 8220 parts. i emailed someone before, and i remember them saying they had the keyboards at least. im sure they now have trackballs too.

on a side note, what did you do to break your trackball?

I would contact these cats and see if they can give you an answer. Seems to be their specialty.

Cleaning it is ****. The ring that holds the trackball in place is extremely fragile and the connector parts break easily. I know that Verizon doesn't carry any replacement parts and requires you to replace the entire phone. Stupid company wasting money and charging the customer for it.

"Broken" is pretty vague. What exactly is wrong with it, in detail? Is it physically damaged? Is the bracket cracked? Or is it just not navigating menus correctly?
