Although, I've read several posts about sticking scroll balls that's not my problem. The ball scrolls and clicks just fine. Except it doesn't register when I scroll up or down. I've tried cleaning it. Its not that it gets stuck, it's done that before and once I got the dirt or whatever out it was fine. This is different. As I said it scrolls up and down but the cursor doesn't move. For example, on the main screen I can only access things in the top row. Is there any way to fix this or am I screwed?
Have you tried taking the battery out and rolling it face down on a piece of cardboard? It sounds like it just has some junk in there to me. If that doesn't work drop by the phone store and pick up a new trackball. They'll give you one for free usually. If not they're only 10 bucks.
