    my friend borrowed my pearl - and I was wondering if it was safe to buy a replacement screen off ebay and do the repair - or better to buy a new phone...

    any advice is greatly appreciated!!

    screen seems to only cost 30 or so bucks.. or new phone 200.. hmmmmmmm hard choice

    A monkey could take a pearl apart (took me 2 mins first time) so i would go with the screen

    The LCD screens are very easy to replace. I'd say go for it.
