I am Canadian, and am going to Cancun for spring break.
I plan on taking my BB but do not want the extra roaming charges for data. So I would like to use my wifi option on my pearl, so that I do not incur these charges.
When I go into Mobile Network, and change my data services option to off, or off when roaming, my wifi icon goes grey. And I am not able to use the apps that are wifi accessable such as Opera Mini, and BB Browser, am I missing something???
